That’s Entertainment!
It doesn’t matter where I go, I am always mesmerized by a live performance. It’s seeing the artists/performers right in front of you whether it be sports based, theatrical or musical that makes the performance even more real and entertaining. There is something to be said as well about the audience’s chance to show their appreciation in facial expressions, applause and standing ovations that excites the room even more and makes the hairs on my arms stand up.
I absolutely love venues that host live entertainment where you get the opportunity to experience the talent up close and personal. I will never get enough of my favourite little bars in Vegas, Key West, and Fort Lauderdale where I have spent hours ogling the artists at the duelling piano bars, completely captivated by their talent and creativity! Having the opportunity to not only see and hear them but also converse with those so talented is truly inspiring.
Big Plus for Venues.
Venues that host live entertainment not only provide space for performers to showcase their talent and broaden their fan base; but also encourage a larger clientele for themselves as they are offering more to the public than what they normally would. Patrons are drawn to venues hosting live performances. Why?
1. Enjoyment of being entertained
2. Enjoyment of broadening artist awareness
3. Feel they are experiencing something special
4. Fosters conversation
5. Evokes emotion and physical responses
6. Enjoy sharing their experience with others via social media & otherwise
…. and it only makes sense that venues want the experience shared with others during and after the performance through social media!
If a venue can provide an experience where the audience leaves feeling their senses have been stirred and shaken then the event has been a success!
I recently had the opportunity to purchase tickets for an evening of entertainment at a venue in my city that normally does not provide live performances. What an amazing evening! It not only reacquainted me to this venue with which I had not attended for awhile (great food!), but left me with a feeling of satisfaction that I had experienced something new and my horizons had been broadened. Guess what…. I’d do it again in a minute and I’ve not stopped talking about it!
