Get the tiny details done now to make a big impact later
Once you have finalized a sponsor for your event, ask them upfront for the tiny details you will need along the way. Rather than asking for one or two things over a few month’s time, ask for everything you need right away so that you can provide your sponsor the most value for their contribution.
Here is what you need from every event sponsor:
- □ Display Logo 50 x 50px
- □ Vector of their logo to include in banner promotions
- □ Social Media Accounts (Facebook, twitter, google+, etc.)
- □ Company Name (How they would like it to appear)
- □ Website or profile link
Having this information will allow you to easily create your event page, highlighting the sponsor through sponsor promotional features on your ticketing/registration page as well as make reference to them in social media posts for added exposure. It’s important to promote an accurate representation of the contributor every step of the way.
Having a database of the materials needed to produce promotional media is a real time saver as it removes any barriers that you would normally face when crafting these materials.
