Since I can remember, I have always made the effort of finding my dad the perfect Father’s Day Gift. When I was little, I would spend hours making a card adorned with cut out ties glued and attached with perfection and the words carefully written in colourful crayon, “I love you daddy”. Often this was accompanied by a small gift involving noodles pasted onto bristol board, paper weight jars, or something of the like.
As the years went on, the cards and gifts became a little more perfected. I ‘graduated’ to buying cards; usually two, with one being funny and one being extremely sentimental. The gifts also changed from being DIY to purchased pieces of clothing, car accessories, tools, barbecue utensils and yard/garden equipment. My dad appreciated every gift he received and accepted it with a big smile.
Father’s Day is fast approaching this year and in my hunt of the perfect gift for Dad I found some gifts that I know my dad and likely many others would love to receive for Father’s Day if money was no barrier.
While highly unrealistic for the average Judy like myself it was fun to explore really expensive gifts and find some things I never knew existed. Check these out! Wouldn’t dad freak?
Imagine dad’s face if you pulled into his driveway in the awesome 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante with a big bow on it! A 573-horsepower 6.0-liter V-12 coupled to a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox equipped with paddle shifters, it goes from zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds.
There seems to never be a TV big enough for dad. This system includes a 201″ (waterproof!) outdoor screen, several speakers, two iPad Minis, and a Blu-Ray player!
Imagine dad flying around in this cool Hovercraft at the cottage! It glides over land and water and soars in the air up to 70mph with integrated wings! Don’t think tubing behind this baby will be an option.
No reason for dad to ever be late for dinner again with this amazing sapphire watch with “flying tourbillon”. With a ring of diamonds and twelve sapphires serving as hour markers, this platinum and gold watch would be a seriously winning gift for dad!
Yes…. contrary to what you might think, dad will be a better golfer using this driver. Aerodynamic head design, internal tungsten weighting, premium black leather grip and genuine Ferrari Leather head.
Wouldn’t dad love these Nautilus speakers that provide exceptionally clear three-dimensional sound! The speakers’ active crossover network frees each driver to operate purely in its own frequency band for sound that is crisper, clearer, and more vibrant.
If only my wallet was as big as the love in my heart for my dad.
A more affordable route would be to get the family to pitch in on a gift for dad and get him something off his more practical list 🙂
